Quick start

Create an account, download the desktop client, sign in through the browser, and open a local project. The IDE works against the project on your machine; the API receives only the context needed for the request.

Pay-as-you-go billing

Every account can use eligible shared models within the free allowance. Paid models require credits. Usage is measured in integer USD micros and held before a request, then settled or released when the provider response is known.

Model selection and routing

Astrea exposes provider, capability, context, speed, and pricing metadata. The model recommendation endpoint can rank eligible models for a task, but the selected model remains explicit and visible to the caller.

Privacy and retention

Project files remain local to the IDE workflow. Account, usage, billing, and support records are handled by the platform as described in the Privacy Policy. Export or delete account data from the dashboard; provider-specific retention and training terms should be checked before sending sensitive material.

Teams and invitations

Visit the Teams page to create an organization, inspect members, and issue an admin or member invitation. Invitations are single-use, expire after seven days, and can only be accepted by the invited email address.

Troubleshooting

Check the status page first. For authentication issues, sign out and retry the browser authorization. For credits_required, add pay-as-you-go credit or select an eligible shared model. Include the request ID when contacting support.

Service visibility

See current API and dependency health before troubleshooting a local installation.
