Astrea works the other way: the request path is visible: local project state is used to build the request, the model you pick stays the one you get, and your bill is something you can actually understand.

Our story

A coding task rarely fits in one window. There is the file you are editing, the question you are asking, and the change you still need to review. Astrea brings those pieces closer together.

So we built Astrea to ask a more useful question: what context is needed for this request, where does it go, and what does it cost? The desktop workflow stays local until context is included in a request, and the model-service policy remains visible as part of that decision.

The people building Astrea

Astrea is currently maintained by a small team. We are not publishing individual biographies or social profiles until each contributor has opted in; we would rather say that plainly than invent an anonymous executive story.
